Engineered for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' domestic and international transport of high-consequence infectious disease (HCID) patients, this 30-foot self-contained unit integrates mission-critical electrical, monitoring, and illumination systems designed for extreme mobility, C-130/L-100 aircraft integration, and rigorous chemical sterilization. The work paired specialized engineering constraints with robust emergency power infrastructure:
Internal Containment & Illumination: Designed high-performance, vibration-resistant interior lighting integrated within a seamless, chemical-resistant envelope, optimizing visibility along the 14-inch aircraft walkway and patient care zones while enduring rigorous transit dynamics.
Integrated Systems & Monitoring: Coordinated specialized low-profile lighting with integrated environmental controls, pressure monitoring, CCTV systems, and HEPA filtration arrays to ensure uninterrupted operational safety during transit.
Deployment & Power Flexibility: Engineered the electrical distribution layout to seamlessly transition between dual generator power sources and ground connection power, supporting rapid deployment across airfields, emergency operations centers, and specialized regional treatment facilities.
