Completed in early 2024 ahead of BYU’s transition into the Big 12, this renovation transformed the Marriott Center basketball locker rooms into a modern, high-energy environment built for game-day prep, broadcast coverage, and recruiting:
Ceiling Integration: Staggered linear fixtures between suspended metal ceiling slats to provide crisp, glare-free illumination along player circulation paths, engineered with flicker-free dimming to ensure full compatibility with broadcast cameras.
Perimeter & Soffit Lighting: Designed a concealed mud-in extrusion along the perimeter soffit to wash both the ceiling and locker faces in uniform color, paired with low-profile toe-kick lighting to add depth across the floor.
Feature Ceiling Logo: Coordinated a custom internally illuminated central ceiling logo with both white and RGB backlighting, ensuring smooth, even diffusion across the acrylic face.
